Presenting at IEEE FG 2024

I had the honor of attending the IEEE International Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition (FG 2024) to present my research on “One-Stage Open-Vocabulary Temporal Action Detection Leveraging Temporal Multi-scale and Action Label Features.” The conference was an amazing experience, filled with insightful discussions, exciting presentations, and great networking opportunities.

In my talk, I introduced a novel one-stage open-vocabulary approach for temporal action detection, which leverages both multi-scale temporal features and action label embeddings. This method aims to improve action recognition in real-world, open-vocabulary settings, addressing the challenge of detecting actions beyond predefined categories.

A Special Thanks to Professor Mugan

One of the most memorable parts of this trip was meeting Professor Mugan, who kindly arranged our pick-up and drop-off at the airport. His generosity and warm hospitality made our experience in Istanbul even more special.

It was a pleasure meeting you, Professor Mugan! Thank you for your kindness and for making our trip smoother.
